We are a group of around 1000 bright young people, mainly students and young professionals. We like to get connected with like-minded to discuss and exchange experiences and thus broaden our horizons.
Goals
Our goals in keywords:
- Promoting intelligence and providing incentives to bright young people to critically analyze coherences and to exercise their minds
- Promoting a culture of discussion among young people
- Pointing out ways to start professional careers
- Pooling our experiences, our knowledge and intelligence to our mutual benefit
Behind The Scenes
MHN is financially independent and we organize and co-ordinate our events ourselves. Behind MHN stands MinD (the german national group of Mensa International) an organization for highly intelligent people with an IQ in the top 2% of the population.
We are not an association as defined by legal terms. We understand ourselves as subset of MinD, deliberately open to Non-Mensans. Our co-operation with MinD is governed by our structure (German only).
We address bright young people that would like to work together to learn more about a given subject (or even a multitude of subjects). The main target group are either members of Mensa or people interested in joining. However this is not a prerequisite for participating in the network's activities.
